Key Fobs

I have 2 fobs for my FLSTC, both have a separate steering lock key. My mates later model has the key in the fob. The question is can i up grade my fob to the later model

Ya got money? Yes? Well step right this way!!! You can buy the fob but then the dealer needs to program it to your bike. Is it worth it? It's your money. My fob only comes out of my pocket to put be put into my next clean pair of pants. And why's it a pair of pants? It's only one.
