could it hurt high end. I found it impossible to get it up to 100 mph. It pretty much won't go higher than 95

It's hard to say without putting it on the Dyno.. If it does I don't think your butt will feel it.. I know some shops will dyno without the Air cleaner on just to produce better flow at higher rpm's to get that peak number up.. Take a test hit without the AC on and see what it does.. Just mind your breathers so it doesn't make a mess of the bike.. You can take 3/16" vacuum line and just temporarily route it to the ground, just secure it.. Or maybe you can just remove that one piece and reinstall the whole AC..Then try it..
