Need help!! I have a 2008 Sportster 1200. Fuel injected. At low speeds, 40 mph or less, it feels like I'm running out of gas. I use high octane gas, I've replaced the air filter, sparkplugs, fuel injectors, fuel sending unit, (fuel pump, filter, pressure regulator) Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
Have you tried cleaning your IAC , should be done at every service interval . Remove your air cleaner , place a rag inside the TB , with the ignition on , if you toggle your off / run switch ( do not start ) you'll notice the pintle retract . Get some throttle body cleaner ( not carb cleaner ) and spray up into the hole , the rag will catch all the crud . After you clean out the iac , clean the butterfly and throttle body seat .
