1000 RPM, is the idle speed spec. If your idle quality is poor, other than speed and or you have off idle transition isuues, maybe you should take the bike to a pro and have it diagnosed. Your homemade 2-2 trie dual exhaust requires the bike toa be re-tuned. That could also be allmor part of your issue.

nothing is homemade on my bike. I was hoping maybe someone smart would have a answer or similar problem to when the bike is up to Temp after a 20-30 minute ride and the bike would idle low . I fixed it today by installing a new crank sensor. Thanks for your input it really helped me and other people who have similar issues when they come across a post like this

I read all your replies and, honestly, caught a bit of attitude in a couple which I am sure other members caught as well. I see that you are a new member and suggest that if you want to hang around; lose the attitude. Lots of "smart someones" here and all wanting to help.

i'm sorry, but anyone that watches your video is going to see that your header pipe for the front cylinder is homemade, not Rinehart or anyone else, sorry it hust is what it is. It hides under the heatshield, so no big deal, and it doesn't change the fact that true dual exhaust needs to be tuned.
good luck in your journies here,,,remember, this place works a lot like a computer, garbage in=garbage out. lots of good info here, so dont be discouraged.
