2008 Road King CVO no power at starter switch
Need some advice/help figuring out the why my scooter wont start. Was on a ride Sunday and stopped at a restaurant, scooter wouldnt fire, nothing
..dead at the start switch, fuel pump works, battery is only a couple months old and has good voltage, checked fuses all good. When holding my finger on the ignition relay while pressing the start switch I can feel the relay open, was able to push start and get home
.any suggestions?

Try cycling the dash ignition switch several times. Very likely the switch is corroded and needs to be cleaned or replaced. I know that switch has the cvo symbol so good luck finding one lol...but mine did exactly that about 2 years ago. I took it apart cleaned it up and no problems since.

I had the exact same symptoms on my 06 Ultra and I cleaned the hell out of the ignition switch by pulling it apart (RTFM) & shooting a fair amount of electrical contact cleaner down inside it.
Based on the color of the fluid that came out, it was plenty dirty.
After it was dry, I sprayed a dry Teflon lubricant in there to help keep out any unwanted moisture and crud.
While the CVO switch is different on the outside, I'll bet it is the same internally as the standard models.
