I cant answer the altitude question. I kinda think that setting the tp at 0 as well as 100% will make a big difference for you though. when I set mine, I was told to do it after the bike was at normal op temp. so thats what I did. All I can tell you is that it really does make a difference. As soon as you connect the laptop and fire the bike up you will see if it is at 0 throttle when it settles down and idles. some say not to worry about the 100% tp setting but I did mine anyway.
Let us know how it turns out, glad to help.
As it turns out, Peyts was sent a unit for the -06' Delphi setup. The PC-III itself is the same, but he was not sent the O2 eliminators. This will definitely result in a major tuning problem. He'll get the eliminators and his AFVs reset and all will be well for him.
PEYTS , if you just want to ride before the snow flies in alberia you can diss-connect the PC and go for a burn.
I dont know what mods you ahve done to your bike so cant offer more than that.
PC claims if your bike is having trouble running you can remove the pc from the loop replug the stock harness in and you are good to go till you can get the issues sorted out.
I wouldnt be inclined to go and red light to red light with my buddies if thier bikes are fully tuned though as they will proly get there ahead of you.
Just my .02 worth.
Also, you might invest in a dyno tune to get it dialed in a little tighter , again just my opinion.

I don't mind fielding PMs, but don't duplicate the correspondence both there and here in the forums, okay? It'd be better to keep it all out here in the open so others can benefit. That's why we're here in the first place anyway, right? To have a community where we can all help each other, even if only indirectly...
Until you get your AFVs squared away again you'll just be pissing in the wind. You could load an "all zeros" map, and ride it that way with the O2 sensors on-line. Then when, after a few minutes of steady closed-loop riding you get your new AFVs established, disconnect the O2 sensors and ignore the check engine light with a map with +3 everywhere (for example). This will certainly be safe enough to do until you get your AFVs back to 100% again, the O2 eliminators installed, and the Fuelmoto map loaded into the PC. Just don't do much (if any) over-40% throttle until then. Pretty much everything below 40% throttle is closed-loop operation and you'll be safe-enough in that mode. Just don't be sending any fuel modifications (anything other than "0"s in the map) with the PC and the O2 sensors connected.
Glens... I was sending you the PMsfor one reason:I was a bit stressed about riding the bike, and I have trusted your advice thus far... hence when I replied to the regular post,I didn't know if you would check back for the message... so I figured if I PM'd you, then we could communicate at a more brisk pace, and I could get this figured out. No other reason. Period. Not trying to keep this a secret or anything... nothing to it.
I sent an email to them this morning and already got one back. I am considering the PCIII over the winter. Let me know how it all works out for you. BTW I am pretty sure from doing all the reading that you have to set the throttle value when you get the unit.

Appreciate it!
I tried calling Jamie... message said normal office hours are Mon-Fri, 9-5 (central time). I sent him an email, but don't expect to hear anything soon.
I also tried calling Power Commander... it just keeps ringing busy (not sure if it is an 800 # that won't work from Canada).
I am arranging for the laptop to adjust the 0% throttle setting... will hopefully do tomorrow morning. Then I can ride tomorrow afternoon, before snow is supposed to fly on Sunday.
