Internal throttle on EFI?????

Can an internal throttle (one cable, spring return on throttle) work with the EFI? Anyone done this on the TC or Evolution engines with EFI????

Not really concerned about safety. Doing on a show bike to clean up front end totally. Just wondering if anyone has done it out there. Still need to be able to drive the bike, just need some feed back from any of those who have tried it. Done it on a carb before just not with EFI........
