I was riding today and went to stop and the idle was really high ~2500 RPM.
When I restarted the bike after about an hour the bike still idles high and the engine light doesn't go off.
I checked the Self Diagnostics and it shows P0505. The bike setup is 2007 SG with V&H Fuel Pak, Ness Big Sucker and V&H Ovals with over 5000 miles on this config.
I cleared the code unpluged the FP and connect directly to the EMC and the code comes back as soon as the idle should slow and doesn't.
P0505 is "loss of idle speed control EFI" which you certainly have described. I would call the nearest dealer and ask if there is something that you can do to correct the problem. I suspect you will need to take the bike to the dealer for proper diagnosis and a fix.
