With a brand new 1.5 D battery that has a reading of 1.6 vdc I receive 1.067 through the harness, which is a drop of .533 vdc. So the percentage is 34%. So now I'm confused if these are the IED or Extreme due to his website does not state voltage readings for the Extreme's.

This is from Night Rider Web Site:

Testing the NBO2 Inline Enrichment Device off the bike
If at any time you think your IED is not working properly, you should first make sure the connectors are properly plugged in and are tight. If you still feel there is an issue, you need to remove it from the bike first. Test your IED with a 1.5V battery, 2 paper clips and a volt meter. First you need to check the battery to make sure it is producing 1.5V. Open up the paper clips and install them into the female connector (wiring harness side). Touch the battery to the paper clips so the (+) side is on the blue wire site and the (-) on the grey side. Touch the voltmeter to the male connectors (wiring harness side). You should see 1.00 to .90 volts or about 30% less than the battery voltage. If the correct voltage is present, the IED is working correctly.

Thanks for the post. I utilized his website to check the devices that I received. My voltage readings seem to be inline with the devices being IED's but don't have a resistance amount to know if they are extreme's or not.

I just ordered my XIEDs. What should mentioned is that you can get a trade up discount of $25 or $15 by sending your IEDs back depending on when you purchased them. When I ordered mine there was 14 left. 13 now.

Yes, as long as it's within 2 weeks of the XiEDshiping date.

Nightrider Trade Up program:
Riders who purchased their O2 iED's after March 20 can get a $25 refund against their XiED purchase if they return their original IED's to us within 2 weeks of the XiED ship date.
Riders who purchased O2 iED's earlier than March 20 can get a $15 refund against their XiED purchase if they return their original IED's to us within 2 weeks of the XiED ship date.

How are people ordering their Xieds?
The Nightrider website isn't up and running yet.

Does Steve have a telephone ordering service?

Thanks
