Looking for info on a Power Commander for my 05' Heritage Softail Classic, TC88B motor. The bike has the Stage one upgrade from Harley since it was new, and Samson True Dual exhaust with Samson S-211 Fishtails on it.I know very little about this performance modification and would appreciate any pro/con info anyone may have. Thanks.
Many here have purchased from them (Jamie is their HD tuner and is pretty responsive to questions). they have links to the manufacturers site and info on the advantages of the PCIII. You are also able to access the manufacturers map list and find a map that may match your combo exactly or very close. They (fuelmoto) will pre load a likely very close map for you when you purchase from them and updated maps if you change equipment, free.
I , personally, think the PCIII is the most bang for the buck for most of us unless you are racing or have a very highly modified bike.
Hi! I think the Powercommander is a great choice, but I had my bike upgraded this winter at the Harley Dealer and went with all Harley Parts including the Race Tuner. I went from 88 cu. in. to 95 cu. in. and over 100 HP. Either is a good choice.
