I had a Screaming Eagle Race Tuner installed on my 05 Ultra late last year. I have and a stage I and Stage ii installed previously. I am not getting a new cam and pipes as well as a 6 sp installed but at different shop than installed the tuner. This shop tells me he does not see where the race tuners was or is installed. Is there a way to visually inspect this to be true or not true? I had the 32107-01G EFI tuner installed according to the service order for a total of about $780.00. The dyno run sheet prior to installation had me at 69hp and after the tuner was installed at 71hp if this is any indication of what I might have really installed. I took pictures of the ECM box and wiring to show to the dealer. They did not give me the mapping key so when I asked for it from them to get it remapped after all the engine work is complete, they told me they can not find the key and I will have to bring the entire bike back in so they could install another tuner because the key is set only for that tuner and since they can not find the key they have to install another tuner at my expense. Any body got any ideas on how to tell what I have?
If they are a Harley dealer, they can see with their tool if aSERT hase ever blown in a new map and I think if a new SERT was ever married to the bike. Even if the stock map is still there.

Since no one has explained it... a race tuner is not "installed". The race tuner is a piece of hardware and some software. The hardware is hooked up to the bike and the software programs the ecm. The hardware is then removed. This means your dealer kept the race tuner that you paid for. As others have said, I'd demand a new one on their dime.
What tobefrank said, there is no physical installation. Theymay havelost the physical 'key,' which can only be used on your bike, but I suspect they charged you $780 and all they really did was a $150 Digital Tech Stage I download and then another $150 Digital Tech Stage II download and they're still $480 to the good.
Either way, like everyone else said tell them to cough up another SERT or give you your money back.
LOL, how many times have I read on here where someone thinks they have a SERT "installed". The SERT is not a piggy back unit like the Race Fueler, Power Commander, or any other fuel management device. The SERT, Screaming Eagle Race Tuner consists of a serial port device that plugs into your ECM and a CD that has the software that has to be loaded on your computer, once the SERT is mated to your bike, it will only work on your bike. They should have given all of this to you in a box when they were finished tunning your bike, if not, they must have screwed you out of about 800 bucks.
I would go to another dealer and have them hook up their diagnostic tool to see if you actually have a SERT map in there. Or if you have a friend with a SERT his will show what map ID number is loaded if you connect it. If you have a SERT map then you will be able to tell if they ever used a SERT on the bike or simply did a Stage 1 download and hosed you for the cost of a SERT. Either way...you paid for a SERT module you didn't get so they owe you a refund or YOUR sert module.
