Up loaded new software so I could use the decel fuel cutoff, and tried to load the new firmware, 4.6. With the new software when I try to bring up the monitor gauges the box shows, but no gauges, just a blank box. Bought the tmax last May with the software version 2007.17.11. Other than the monitor gauge page not working all else seems fine with the new software. Also could not down load the new firmware 4.6 but I have heard of others having issues with that. Anyone else run into problems with the monitor gauges not working?
I have the original software that came with the unit. Same version you mentioned, with the 4.4. It updated to 4.5 and 4.6 with no problems and everything works except for a known quirk in the diagnostics for 02 sensors. It would seem you may have to reinstall the software from scratch and go from there, or find another file for 4.6 module update. The one you have may be corrupt. If you want, email me and I can send you the file that worked on mine to rule that possibilty out. Ron
From what I read onanother forum that has an extensive Tundermax thread (you know who I mean) there is a glitch with the new 4.6 version not loading properly that Zippers is aware of and apparently addressing. So it is time to hurry up and wait.
I did read that. The other problem I am having isafter I downloaded the software the moitor gauge page is not working right. The box is there but empty. With the original software the box and values would be there even if you were not linked to the ecm.
Thanks I downloaded the software onto another computer at work and everything worked as it should including the monitor gauge page. Reloaded my laptop with the same software and still the monitor guage page is blank. Had the company computer guru look at the problem and he has no Idea why it is not working right on my laptop. Anyone else run into this??

Is the 'known quirk' you refer to have to do with the front and rear EGO fault message? I could not get 4.6 to load. Zippers told me it is a known s/w problem. They emailed 4.5 to me, which loaded fine. I went to load a new map (I finally installed new pipes) and I get a front and rear EGO fault (it has some sort of count which increments once/second).
Well I had a few post on when I updated the software on my laptop the monitoring guage page was blank. I unloaded, deleted and reloaded more times then I care to admit. I had loaded the new software on a company computer and had no problems. I knew the issue was with my laptop. I am not computer savy, so someone else would of found or fixed the problem sooner, but thought I would post what I did to resolve the issue just in case someone else runs into the same problem.
I did a search on my laptop for thunder max files and it pulled up three. Did the same on the company computer where it was working okay and it pulled up four thunder max files. Compared files and the one I was missing for whatever reasons was the file with the monitoring and firmware information. Copied the file from the computer that was working into my laptop and now the monitoring guage page is showing what it should. Do not know enough about computers to tell you why the laptop was not recieving the file but atleast it is now fixed.
