SERT Question
My friend bought a new 08 Roadking, they gave him a little serial port to bike connector and thats all. Where do you hook it up to the bike and where is the software to make it work?

the SERT should be a key lock to interface with the ECM. There is a 4 pin data port on the bike. I know it's under the left sidecover on the V-Rod, and under the fuse panel on the Dyna. I presume on the softail it's under the seat somewhere.
The software should come with the SERT. You should be able to buy the latest software from your dealer for like $20.

You don't get a CDwith the old Race Tuner anymore. It's obsolete and stock is depleted. Search for 'sendspace' on the forum and you will find links to a place you can download the v4.7.7 software as a zip file. Unzip it with WinZip and you'll have everything that came on the CD. Run 'launch.exe' and you're on your way.
