The first thing you want to do is make sure it needs changed.
If your motor kicks back on a no start (rolls back) this could very likely be a false reading. do you get a code,is it resetable?
I will say that if it does not have a separate plug,(two wire deutsch) then it will likely have a 5 pin connect in a 6 pin body (IIRC) the positioning of the two removed wires can be mixed up easily,but it does not matter.
does it still have residual magnetism ?
