Ignition Timing
 \\;Hi,I have 95 cu in Street Bob, SE204,s ,V&\\;H Big Shots ,SE flat top pistons, stock compression, 89 hp,97ft lb.It runs fine,
but between 2000 &\\; 2500 rpm,s I get vibration through the footpegs when I accell and decell .Would this be down \\; to
ignition timing in this area ?I have a sert &\\; twin scan.Any help would be usefull thanks.

If you have a laptop and a set of cables for the SERT, just data log the bike for about 20 min on the street (assuming the bike is still street legal or the track if it really is a race bike) and look at the data to see whats going on. \\; Remember to turn on o2 logging before you start logging. \\; Figuring out whats going on in the midrange is normally fairly easy given you have the logs.

look underneath your engine and see if the jiffy stand pin is hitting your engine case bolt. You will be able to see the witness marks if this is true, and the cotter pin side should face to the rear of the motorcycle.
