Plug wire arcing on engine

I have a 2003 883r.I was out riding today and the bike started backfiring and sputtering.I got it home and pulled in the garage.It was dark in there&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; and I look at the motor and the plug wire for the rear cylinder is arcing.It is doing this right at the coil.From the rubber boot to the top of the motor.Do i need new wires?Or coil?Any help would be great

Unplug it ( with the engine off ) and clean both the coil top and wire.&nbsp\\; If that doesn't work buy new plug wires.
