Hello I would like to talk to someone familiar with the location of timing marks.

Hey welcome to the forum, I see your getting the run around, I'm assuming you have a pan-shovelhead, I might be able to help depending on what you need to know, if not I would try posting in the classic section, in that section you can post on panhead or shovelhead, they all have their own section, goodluck!!

cady1....I have a 68 shovel..i gave up on the timing marks long ago.. I made a little rod to put in the cylinder through the spark plug hole to set up the piston 7/16' before TDC on the compression stroke, then with the points already set, advance the point cam lobe, and useing a multi meter, or Thin piece of paper, snap the points open and/or slide out the paper and snug her down, you should be set to go..
