I took the advice offered here on the forum, and contacted the company about an update on my TFI which I then sent to Dobeck. Today I finally get the TFI back to find a different unit in the box. I have a 2006 Street Bob which supposedly uses a 1340St TFI, but when I opened the box I found they had sent me a 1440ST which is for a 2007-2008 Dyna! Does anyone know if this is the "upgrade", or did they screw up by sending me the wrong unit??? I can't get hold of the company until next week, and thought someone here might know the answer.

Could be, but I was told the 1440st was discontinued as a TFI product, and only continues as an "arlen ness big shot". Best thing you could do, is call when you get a chance.

These products must've been pretty good with/for the previous generation of our EFI systems. From what I can tell, they really don't help out all that much with what we now have. Many have reported problems both with the units and with customer service. Even the Dobeck web forums are pretty dead and appear to have been now for a while.
