This may have been asked but I was unable to find the answer in the search menu. I have looked at the Vance and Hines website and am pretty interested in the V&H fuel pac EFI module. From what I have read from the V&H website it appears to be very user friendly and seems to be pretty straight foward on instalation and setup. My question is this,...... will the Fuel Pac work on the 06 Dynas. Their website says it works in conjunction with the stock Harely EFI module, and the website has a setup for the 06, but the online company that I was gonna order it from only listed it for the Dyna up to 05. I think that the website that I was gonna order from may just not be updated since it appears that V&H only has one model for the Dynas. Also I would like any feedback from any on here that is using the fuel pac. I will be running a SE air filter and a V&H Big Radius exhaust.
Well,................. Hummm,.. I assume that this is not one of the more popular EFI units? I just thought that it would be better than the standard download that the dealer has, and Vance & Hines has a map available for the setup that i'm looking for.
Not trying to change your mind here but that unit has poor tech support and is said to work better with their products than others.
Look into the TFI by techlusion, same principle, great tech support and works well. Also has better instructions and suggested settings for base settings as a starting point.
TCSTD,
Thanks for the info. Well,.... I also checked the Dynojet website and found the phone number of the closest authorized dealers with a Dyno. I gave them a call and I got a quote of $582.15 and that includes installing the PCIII, making a custom map, and also doing the rev limiter and giving a Dyno printout of the end results. Well considering I'm not a mechanic, I just decided to go with the complete Dyno tune. Well, when taking into consideration the price of my new bike, $582.15 isn't too much to know that the bike will be mapped for my exact setup, and should run better than it did when it left the factory. Considering i'm more into reliablity, than into "do it yourself" fine tuning and tweeking,.... it will definately be worth the extra money.
