Electrical Problem after new stereo

Electrical Problem after new stereo
HI all,
I recently had a new stereo put in my 87 FLHTC, since then, occasionally my turn signals or flashers will come on by them selves. I have heard 2 theories, one being a bad ground, the other being the load is too much for my charging system. Any ideas out there? I've laways had some kind of drai, and since installing the new stereo, my volt meter is atually running up near 14V for the first time, but occasionally freaks out. I'm going to the 105th in Milwaukee this week, solved or not, but I'd prefer to have everything working right for the 700 Mile ride. Any and all suggestions welcome, thanks!
