I've installed a PC III on my '05 SuperGlide using a map Fuel Moto gave me. Big improvement. Thinking about getting it even better. I noticed my local Iron Horse dealer has a dyno and charges $79.95 for 3 pulls. Is that a good deal?
That's not a bad deal at all as long as they will tune it for you within those three pulls. Most dealers charge their labor rate tims however long it takes to get the tune accomplished. The average is 2-3 hours which usually come out to around $200-$300.
That's not to bad of a price, but they shouldn't need to do it 3 times, at most 1 MAYBE 2. The 3rd time the motor will be heated up and actually start losing Hp.
Why not have them dyno tune the bike to get the most from your performance mods?
Terry I'm guessing these pulls are just to see what the bike is doing. Which is what I did for my baseline.
