I am looking for a new tuner, and was seriously thinking about the Daytona Twin Tec. I spoke with them today, and they said that they have a new controller comming out this month that will have a front and rear o2 sensor. I am just a little leary about doing this because I have a basic understanding of what is what, but am not that versed in actually tunning everyting. From what I understood today, there is a basic map that will load according to my modifications, and then you just tweak it a little after riding and the o2 sensors do most of the work. What does anyone think? Is this "The one to have?" Or should I do another system?
Depends on your patience. If it was me I would wait till some if any of the bugs are worked out on it before dropping $500 or so dollars. It's a new system to bikes so it would be natural to think a learning curve or hiccups may arise. If you can't wait then get it and let us know how it works. The closed loop system sounds like it is the best available.
I have heard that it will be available sometime in May.
They have experience with Bosh O2 sensors in their Wego II wide band sensors. This will be a step forward from the narrow band sensors presently on the 06 Dynas. On paper it would seem to be the perfect ECM tuner.
It will be interesting to hear more about it as people begin to use it. I would probably wait awhile before I laid down that much cash for one. On the plus side you won't need to dyno your bike.
It is looking like I may do it, if it is as easy as they explained.
hey man, i dont wanna sound like a patriot or nothin,
your flags look great behind your bike,
but,
could you correct your presentation of the stars and stripes
the field if stars should always be presented in the left in a fixed position, weather it
be affixed as you have it, or draped downward
