Low idle stall

Did you ever get a fix for this? Anyone send you a PM with a solution?
I ask because I have a 2003 EG stock 88 with EFI. Installed a Stage 1 intake, Power Commander III, flashed ECM for rev limiter (yes, this was before PC came out with their Rev XTEND), and a set of Hooker slip ons. Dyno tuned and idle ran solid 1000 RPM all of last year. Had the shop put a set of 203 cams in this winter and dyno tune again with custom MAP. I have noticed that bike idles around 1100 RPM on warm up then normally settles down to 1000 RPM. However, for the past week or so the idle drops to 800 RPM (once even down to 500 RPM) when I come to a stop after running for a 10 mile stretch on the highway. Took it to the shop today and they don't have an answer for the erratic idle. They think it might, might be temperature related....I'm running in 20 to 30 degree F temps here in Alaska. I don't expect the 203's to be quite as smooth as stock, but the idle be more stable. Shovelhead Bob suggested that the IAC could be failing..... Or the roller bearing on the IAC Arm is not lubed.... I'll check this out but so far no real answer ;-(
Nope no answeres yet. I did put the V&H pro pipe on this weekend and it is now at the tuners for the dyno run. They did install the wrong base map which affected the timing but i dont think that is the problem. I have read several posts on different forums and no one has the same situation. Seems like what you are saying is exactly what happens to my RK. I pick it up tonight and i will let you know if they found anything. The mechanic that did the 103 build for me is also going to give it a once over, but assured me that it is not a heat problem. Im stumped but again i will let you know.
