Injector Problems.
Well I think it happened to me. I was going on a short ride and after about 10 miles or so the engine started to idle fast and start slowing down when I was stopping at a light. Then it started to hesitate when throttling to leave from a stop. I have the 8 degree injectors. Oh I forgot to say that I own an '06 FXDCI. Has this happened to anyone else. Thanks in advanced.

Are ther ANY mods done to the bike????
Are you sure that the fuel you have is "Fresh"?
Did you get a CEL (Yellow Motor Light in the Instrument Cluster)?
Reason for these questions is that is what the Dealer will ask as well....
More than likely, you have a problem with the injectors, but be prepared for the grilling....
Get it to your Dealer ASAP to get it rectified...

A HDI FXDCI -06 here. No mods (that would effect how the engine work).
Yes, it happens to me to.
Randomly, its missing a fire, I guess due to a lean condition.
This happens when one from slight throttle backs of to no throttle.
And when you´re standing still at a red light and just as you blip the throttle to drive away, it misses one beat.
Maybe one/two times time a day.

Yes, you are right, I ought to do that.
I'd probably do that If more dealers were like you! (assuming you are one).
I'm tired of argumenting when issues are obvious. I am still waiting for the transmission fix. I read about it on this forum last year, asked my dealer about it, they had no clue. Talked to the HD headoffice, they told the dealer to get the fix, before the riding season started (and yes now its started). Still have not heard anything from the dealer (contacted them twice).
Here, (sweden), we only have half the year to ride, so having the bike in for maintenace during the riding season isn't that fun.
I can live with the issue (injector problems) especially since I'm having a SERT on backorder to go with my new SE slip-ons and SE AC and plan to tweak things meself.
So I've decide to do all the maintenance myself, because of the slight interest from the dealer other than selling bikes.
