Reading another recent post got me to thinking about the fuel injectors again. Previously I remember reading several people with the 06 changing theres out. Just cruious as to how many have done this and why, also what did you replace them with and what was ness. to do that?

I haven't changed mine, and I'm very happy with howmy 06(built Dec 05) runs/performs. I just have a small starting issue, where if I don't keep the button pushed in for a fraction of a sec after it first fires it will kick back and die. I think it's more ignition-timing related, or maybe even a not so good battery so I'm not concerned about changing the injectors at all. I can't even remember what the change was supposed to fix?

I've still got my 8° injectors. Runs fine.
Some bikes had cold start / driveability problems (surging). 25° injectors were supposed to cure it.

Mine where changed. The problem was the engine would rev-up at a stop light and the check-engine light would go on at the same time. After the engine slowed down to normal idle the light would go off. Then the bike would have to be reved-up to take of from a stop.

Changed. Bike would stall leaving stops. Almost in the middle of intersection. Very dangerous. Cold start problems occasionally. Surging in low gears. All is well now. No remap. Bike is still stock mufflers and air cleaner.
