Hey guys! I just bought a 2006 HD street glide. I absolutley love it. The only problem is, it started skiping like it was skipping a spark, at low throttle position. If I go to take off, the bike will cough a second like it missed a spark. any one else had this problem or now what it may be? Also, when I hold steady throttle, it seems to be surging up and down with power. It doesn't stay consistant and smooth. It only has 250 miles on it,HELP!!!

Sounds like the 8 deg. inj. problem.....
get it to the dealer....
Or you had that moter HOTTER than 2 Fat Broads fighting over a Hotdog in a Yugo....
Then it would be the Heat Mgmt kicking in....

The problem just happened recently within the last three days. Of course it got the worst today on a 74degree day and sunny as can be. Is it safe to ride it to the dealer or will it cause damage? It seems like it could be an injector or running lean. It gives an impresion of the timing being off right now as I just started it and let it idle. It idles high (1000-900 rpm) it kind of sounds like timing being off. I don't know if that is the bikes way of compisating for leaness of injector prob or what?
