Tuner/Battery

Is it possible for a tuner to loose it's programming after a dead battery?

I didn't think so but my bilke is idling aweful rough after it happened.

Don't think so. It's flashed to a chip and retains it separately from battery power. If you are running a tmax then the initialize will need to be redone to set the iac for correct idle. This establishes the marriage between the mechanical iac device and the electronic control of the ecm.

Had the same thing happen. Wife was playing with the bike and left it on without knowing it. I jump on and the battery is dead so I had to get a new one. I lost the map that was in the PCiii, quick fix even though at first I had no idea what happened.
