what am i missing???
2007 FLTR
stock motor, se highflow airfilter, VHFuelpack, rushpipes 2-1/4 baffles, highperf se plugwires
10,000 miles, amsoil in all three holes, 20w50 in primary and engine, 75-110 in tranny
bike runs VERY strong, slip on's are on the headerpipes the whole way...no gaps.
sometimes hot-sometimes not...the bike wants to stall at "hot" idle....shut it down, fire it up, runs like a champ until you get to the next light and repeat pattern again...doesn't seem to have a rhyme or reason to the timing of occourance...
sometimes bike acts like it wants to take a second or two too long to start...will "knock" hard one time when you hit that starter after it has stalled as described above...
plugs are not fouled or white... oil temps on dipstick run around 235 after riding in this SC summertime heat for an hour...not bad...
what am I missing....what is causing this intermittant stalling and hard-knock restart...
Causing me problems yesterday afternoon, tonight ran like a champ without incident...
Cut some if you can and see. Make a big enough move that you will notice one way or another. Baby steps will nickle and dime you to death. Can fine tune later.
Mine was that way.
