After washing my bike, my tach, indicator lights on the tach, neutral indicator, voltage meter, fuel guage, temperature guage, and alternator voltage indicator stopped working. The speedometer, radio, turn indicators, brakes, cb, everything else works fine.
I checked all fuses and they are all ok. I changed the instrument fuse with a known good replacement to no avail. The manual says that there is an automatic reset for the circuit that will reset after the problem is fixed, so if this was a mosture problem I would have expected it to be dry by now. The bike was washed over 1 week ago.
Any suggestions or ideas of what else to check would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Checked the fuses and they are all good. Just discovered that my tail lights are not lit with the lights on, but the brake lights all work fine. Seems to be part of the same circuit giving me problems.
