1990 Fatboy starter problem
I have a near mint 1990 Fatboy (3,000 miles) Show bike most of it's life. Last week a problem started. When I hit the starter button the starter klunks hard.., and nothing. Wait a couple seconds - hit it again and she fires right up. / I've checked the wiring [don't think that's the problem - but check everything - right?] What else can I check without pulling the starter? I'm disabled., pulling that puppy is gonna be a real pain - so, I'm hoping to discover / solve the problem without having to cuss all weekend.
