Clarifying "06 Classic died"
Recevied a note asking for a short clarfication on the problem....Yes the 40 amp fuse on the left side was checked along with all other fuses they were all intact....even checked the EFI fuses on the right side, again all ok....Did not have a volt meter to check power level of battery but did check all connections to the starter and the ground from the battery...battery did display what seemed to be a strong spark on the positive terminal...again all connections were tight and ok.....Bike was picked up by my Harley Dealership...its still under warranty...but it sure has me puzzled how this happened and whats causing the problem...especially after running all day.......Thanks for responding back...its much appreciated

Hi Roger, My 06 RK Classic had similar problem last weekend, shut it off, went to start back on and ignition was DOA, lights came on as normal but no crank or fuel pump prime (orange engine light) at all, had it towed to dealer and it was a bad ignition fuse. Bike has only 1k miles on it so I'm a bit concerned. Dealer checked wiring harness and said nothing looks crimped or shorted, and it all tested clean so we shall see. -John
