Default SERT Map Question

2006 Deluxe (FLSTNI)
25 Degree Injectors (confirmed)
SE A/C
Big Shots Staggered (V&H 17907)
w/ Quiet Baffle (V&H 21869)

Finally have all the parts, just received the new SERT (32107-01E), I am really not interested in having bike Dyno tuned at this point, can someone recommend a good safe MAP to load and run with for this set-up?

Default RE: SERT Map Question

My bike has the exact SE parts on the #59 Map on the CD. I have been running it for a few weeks.
It runs better, plugs look about the same. I just loaded a tweaked map but it's been raining here in
MD so I do not know if I have improved things.
I would load the map that has the closest description to what you have. If your pipes have a little more
restriction with the quiet baffles over SE II's I would bet you would be real close. I compared the 1550
map to the 1450. I thought it might be a little richer but it wasn't any different in the A/F table. The V/E
table was different.

I tried several maps below, the best one so far with my setup is #32 141NX002, it seems to run better with the 8* map even though I have 25* injectors. You may want to try the map that is recommended for your bike in the Race Tuner cals with the 25* injectors, then try the 8* map and see which one runs better. I just installed this map tonight and will try it out for a couple of days and compare it to another map I have been using that was emailed to me by a member (JamieWG) of this forum that preformed pretty well. You may want to contact him and try his maps.

#59 141NX104...1450cc 25* map Race Tuner cal Recommend
#60 141NY103...1550cc 25* map
#55 141NR004...1450cc 25* map with touring mufflers
#33 141NY002...1550cc 8* map
#32 141NX001...1450cc 8* map D&D recommended
#32 141NX002...1450cc 8* map

It's going to be difficult loading up a closed loop map from an 06 DYna on a open loop Delphi ECM.

A safe map would be a 1550 stage one map for your Deluxe. The pipes will certainly use up the extra VE table values of the 1550 map.

Thanks everyone, especially Shovelhead Bob, map 53 CAL ID 141NQ003 for the 2006 Shotgun / Shorty Dual Style Exhaust appears to be about dead on. Will do some more testing over the long weekend.
