can i reprogram security code without knowing current code?

Hey fellas,
I recently purchased a 2002 super glide that came with the security system and one key fob to activate it. But I do not have the code to shut the security system off with the turn signals, and I do not have a owner's manual.
Is there a way to reprogram the system with my own pin without knowing the last owners code? Or will I have to take it to the local dealer and pay a whole bunch of money for them to do it?

You can

Reprogram the code as long as you have the correct fob with you, or you can have the dealer do it. No problem. The procedure is in the owners manual and any service manual.

With the FOB in hand follow the instructions in your owners manuel it will show you the current code and then change it to what you want.
