Default Left turn signal works, right doesn't

Hi, i would greatly appreciate some input. My bike is a 95 softail springer, and is running all LED's with a load equalizer. The left turn signals work fine, so do both left and right marker lights. The right turn signals do not function at all, but pressing the right turn signal button will cancel a left signal, but not flash lights on the right side. Any ideas? I would assume that because the right turn button cancels the left signal that the button for the right side is fine. Where should i go from here? I was thinking to check the turn signal microprocessor and wiring to it as my next course of action, but I am not very excited about taking off the gas tanks to get to them. I am not sure if this has anything to do with the problem, but it started yesterday on a very hot (90 degrees plus) day where i put on about 200 miles. Thanks for your time and help.

This a.m. when headed out for a group ride my left signals did not work, but the right ones did. Then all of a sudden they started working. I attributed it to my washing the bike last night and having got the switch wet or something. It was also 90+ degree weather last night and today.

Just a simple question. Have you checked/replaced the bulbs. Assuming something is not shorted and your theory about the switch cancelling the left signals is good, what if both blinker elements were coincidentally burned out? Just a simple thought - switch a bulb left to right or use a meter or test light to see if the right side is getting a blink. Can't hurt.

The front turn signal doubles as a marker light, which works. I think i am going to have to remove the tanks to get to the wiring for the turn signal microprocessor. I have pretty much ran through any possible simple solution.
