ESPFI
Can someone take a couple minutes to explain Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection to me. I have a mechanical background, so I should be able to follow the explanation. I understand Electonic Fuel Injection. It is the Sequential part that I have doubts about.

In short it means each cylinder has it's own injector in a port firing at the intake valve. It is timed by the crank sensor to fire individual injectors when it's intake valve opens. Same system Harley has used before accept the 2006 dynas and all 07 harleys accept maybe the v-rods are closed loop now. ESPFI has nothing to do with closed or open loop, I am not sure why they decided to use acronym ESPFI now instead of just EFI.
