Dead Starter
I tried to start mt '07 XL1200C after being stored for the winter. Nothing happened, other than the lights coming on and the engine priming. I fully charged the battery. I thought I had the battery tender hooked up over the winter only to find the breaker to the a/c outlet tripped. I also replaced the starter relay because I was even hearing the starter click. Then I found the 15amp battery fuse was blown. I replaced the fuse with a spare and blew that one when I tried starting the bike. Sounds like I might have a short somewhere. Could it be the battery?? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
