I bought a T-Max off of a forum member , and installed . Bike "works" , and so does the lights , horn , anti theft , etc . But.... I can't get linked up to it . I have tried two different USB to serial adapters , and nothing . Any one else have this problem ? If so , how did you fix it ?
I believe your problem is drivers are needed for your pc for it to function. Off hand I don't know which ones but a search on this forum should give you an idea.

Whoo hoo I fixed it ! I read on here somewhere that turning off the virus protection allowed the computer , and the T-max to link , so I tried it . BINGO ! Worked like a charm. Off to ride
