Air Cleaner: HD SE Stage 1 Kit for EFI Models
I have a new SERT and would like to select the best canned settings, or better yet, try a map that others have used with sucess for this setup. Thanks!
there is no good canned map for the road king or any harleys.......ive tried them all. the 1450 canned map is ok, but is real lean and has decel pop bad. i also tried using the 1550 canned map it runs real good but motor runs about 50 deg hotter and you will prolly blu your pipes. i just got athe Daytona sensors 88+scanner and wego sensor......seems that is the only way to go if you want to get it right!!! the dyno maps will end up costing you more $$$ and time, and the dyno is not always kind to your motor!
i will post my completed map once its done!
they have a link here to post maps..........but for some reason, no-one post any maps??????????
im not really sure why????? i guess its a big secret???
I was told to start with the Stage1 1550 map. To quote Shovelhead Bob " it will be a little rich
on the top end". It is working great for me and the fuel milage is not bad 38mpg. All I did
was cut the decell enleanment numbers in half (all that were above 0 ) to help eliminate
the decell pop. I would say go ahead and give it a try, it wont hurt anything.
Also if you go to V-Twin forums .com they have a good map data base for touring bikes.
If your not a member you won't be able to download one, but just pm me and I will
get it for you if you find one you like.
