Hi, new guy here
hi all, have been looking around in here for a while and have seen some real good info, had a question about error codes.
i have a 2005 road king custom. started out with a sert and se slip ons, just installed a pcIII usb and V&H long shots with BCT baffles, loaded a map from the pcIII maps for my application and it has been running good but not what i expected and then i noticed a fault light before i started it each time and a little skip at low rpms. faultcode was p1004( system relay contacts closed) has anyone heard of this and can anyone tell me what it means?

It's not a bad relay. It's because the PCIII USB uses a 9v battery to stay alive on Delphi bikes when they are off. If you had the 9v battery hooked to the PCIII and the bike was off for any time, the ECM sets a fault code for the relay.
