Default pc3 issues

I have a 2005 heritage,103".S&S stroker,S&S pistons,10-1,street port & polished heads, andrews 60g cams,Vance& hines bigshot longs, feuling race pump& cam plate,1.8 spyke starter,pc3ex. My problem is the bike ran fine as a 95" build, but when I went to the 103"stroker,the pc3ex didn't seem to work after the 103 build. . The only way it would start is with the 9volt battery adapter plugged into the tuner. Then it would start the rest of the day.I have a couple of Questions? My bike is from Texas, and the pc3 is for Califonia emissions?,shouldn't it be the original type pc3 with the buttons on the face of the tuner?,Is this possible why the tuner didn't recognize the 103" mapping.2nd problem,I had to take My seat off to plug in the 9volt adapter, so I asked them to extend the wires so I could plug in the battery without removing the seat.Went to start it,doesn't start.2nd time it makes a noise like the starter is turning over at twice the normal speed.ecm fuse blown, replaced won't start.Flooded, coming out of the exhaust on the floor.Cleared out the fuel, disconnected pc3. Starts, but runs like ****. Plug the pc3 back in doesn't start. Also when it ran last the left hand turn signal on the dash was flickering on and off like a short. Then the day the mechanics looked at it the light was solid.HELP!

Sounds like the PCIII is dead, shorted and could have done something to the ts module. Ck all the fuses. The bike runs bad due to you are running the stock program on the ECM. Thats the main reason I don't like piggyback modules as thats what they do after time.

I would contact Jamie at Fuelmoto, a site sponsor here. It may be a bad PC but I would bet the EX isn't going to do it for your build.
Jamie has his own branded PC111 that would do it for you.

Talked to Jamie at fuel moto. He said that there is no base mapp for a 2005 heritage with a 103". He said it has to be custom mapped, (dynoed) I believe. The bike fired up today like nothing ever happened. I love electrical nightmares, it makes You humble.

Smile stepping up

My mechanic said His machinist has a good tuner friend who will supply a new pc and program it. He said he'd make it right for Me and He would foot the bill. Now that's standing behind Your work, and then some.Venice Custom Cycles, I'll be going back to You everytime.MIKE
