Throttle Body Valve Close Adjustment
Two questions:
#1. Does anybody know for sure the little tool that it takes to adjust the throttle valve close position screw on an EFI throttle body. 09 FXDF but suspect pretty much the same since probably 06 or 07. I think it's an HS2.5, I have HS2.0 and HS3.0, they look the right shape but one is too big and the other too small.
#2. What's the correct setting for the valve in the closed position. I swear I found it in my service manual at one time but scoured the darn thing two days in a row and can't find it again. Seems like you're supposed to have it adjusted so that if you open it, insert a feeler gauge and close on the gauge, 0.003" gauge should slide out farily easily and a 0.005" should stick. (If it's in the manual please tell me which page so I can maintain at least a little of my sanity.)
