Tuning Cost

So what is the going cost to get a tune done anymore? I am looking at putting on a 2-1 exhaust and think that to get the most out of the change I should get the engine re-tuned until I called and they told me it would be $400. I already have a SE race tuner that was used when I did the 95ci conversion a few years ago. The only modifacations were the cylinders changed and cams changed to SE 203. Engine was tuned with SE 16 gauge exhaust.

I'm hauling my bike about 7 hours away for a full custom tune on Monday. Paying $425. Just did a 98" kit and head work and can't get a canned map for my combo for the PCiii.

I just paid 450 for my tune with the TTS Mastertune was tuning the bike for
6 + hrs. Runs awesome now. no knocking or pinging or decel popping anymore.

Paid $300 for my dyno last summer. Don't know how long it took, but it was about 50 miles on the speedo after the tune. Runs great. I did have a 103 build done with the sert so thats why I had the dyno done

Thanks for the replys. If I put a new exhaust on I will not have it tuned. I am not going to pay $400 plus the cost of the exhaut $500-$600 just to change the look and sound a little. Apparently D&D has a fiberglass wrapped baffle that I learned about through some emails with them, sounds like what I might go with.
