I have a 2005 1200 Custom. I recently changed my battery and when I replaced it my speedometer and odometer do not work. I have checked the fuses and the owners manual. Is there somesort of code I need to reset it? Please help before I get a ticket

A little more information would be helpful. On a less than 2 year old bike, what happened that lead to the battery being replaced? Does anything happen when you turn on the ignition like the odometer lighting up, etc.? Any other problems with the electrical system you have found?

Well, it is a 2005. I was out of town for a while and my wife didn't start it, so when I got back and wanted to ride it wouldn't start. I changed the battery but the speedo and odometer wouldn't work. No, it does nothing even with the key on and the bike running. When I set the alarm the key in the panel doesn't flash. I have checked everything and called Harley. They were no help at all. Everything else works fine. Any insight would be great. Thanks
