no one gives any better deals than the others.
there are a ton of maps that come with the TTS and the first thing you do once you load the software on your computer is run the update which gives you the latest maps available as 2well as document updates and program updates. When you call Doc, tell him exactly what your build is and he'll tell you what map to start with. MrWizard on this forum is a GREAT help as well and can certainly guide you along.

Both come with a library of calibrations.

the biggest advantage to the TTS (and many other tuning devices) is customer support and the help you'll get here on the forum. Try to call HD and ask for assistance on the SERT or SEST.
