Default RF wave???

i gots a 2009 road king. 25000mi. it had PC V with a ness BS and rivco slip ons. i changed to wildthing cam, kuryakyn tru duals with tts mastertune. the kuryakyn fella doing the dynotune called 2 day and said my bike is throwing off a RF wave?? that is interfering with his dyno. possible??? short? bike does not give a error code. appears intermittent thing. he said he heard sumthing about the stock ECU plug having a issue of cycle memory. i had noted a few incidents this late summer and into the fall of a hiccup of sorts occuring once in a while, and mabe with some slight increasing frequency??? he also figures that if it was from a short, it would throw a error code.
thanks ......TJ

I have an 09 on my dyno now with a PCV and was having a problem with the rpm leads, the dyno tach would jump all over during a run, thought I was going to pull my hair out, turned out that the bike had NGK plugs in it and the top caps were loose. Tightened up and no more RF problems.

The proper RF wave is left hand with two fingers extended pointed downward at a 45 degree angle.

We've had this problem a few times, especially with flat track dirt bikes. It can be a real PITA.

Plug wires often cause an RF problem, a defective stock wire or using aftermarket non or low resistance wires will increase RF activity. I've had some of my dyno test equipment damaged a few times by customer's engines who were using non resistance plug wires until I started to check for that before testing.
