I've used this forum before on other issues and it's helped a great deal. Now I feel that I rely on on it for honest answers, as well as the ability to share what I know and have come across.
Now to the nuts and bolts of this thread...
I have a 2008 Road Glide with 20k miles, fuel filter recall completed at 1k service, that has an intermittent "no start" condition. Issue started about 5000 miles ago. Fuel pump cycles to pressure, no check engine light, no running condition issues, up to date services.
Dealer thinks, key word "thinks" it might be the check valve. I can disconnect the tank fitting and reconnect and bike will restart 9 times out of 10. One noticable issue when tank fitting is disconnected, fuel pours out of tank when it should not.
Dealer believes check valve can be serviced/replaced at 25k service due to the need to gain access to tank on that service for fuel filter replacement.

if you pull that connector apart and fuel pours out of the tank, then it's defective and should be replaced. that check valve will let a very small amount come out when diconnected but "pours" is not normal.
When you say "no start" condition" do you mean the bike cranks, just won't start, or the bike won't crank?
If it cranks, you want to be looking at fuel or ignition. If it doesn't crank, you want to be looking elsewhere such as the crank position sensor.
