77 flh starter issues
hello i am working on 77 stock flh. the starter it seems does not always crank the engine it sounds like the bendix is not hitting the clutch hub.if I jump the solenoid from the large terminal to the small terminal the starter works fine.I have replaced the bendix gear, clutch hub and inner primary and battery during the restoration, the small wire to the solenoid is getting voltage when I press the button. any suggestions? thanks
