HELP! Where is the turn signal control module on a 97flh?

HELP! Where is the turn signal control module on a 97flh?

The clymer manual says its under the seat. While looking today I traced the wiring from the rear fender, through some sort of multi-pin connector, and then under the gas tank. Please help. I have a rear, left turn signal not working. Replaced the lamp first and checked wires and connections. I want to start testing voltages but need to find the damn module!!!

Forgot to mention, there is no security/anti-theft system.

It's under the tank, ( at least it was on my '98.)

Thanks for helpin stiggy. I guess you have to post about dumb **** to get a response on this site. Maybe I will start another thread on what a "real biker is". Maybe then I will get responses. Oh by the way, I wasnt the module. The wires fell off from under the rear fender and the tire wore through. Was able to trouble shoot with a meter till I found it. Had to drop the rear tire to get to it.
