testing coil pack

Feels like my bike is only runnin on one cylinder. Runs ok at idle, but when i try and ride it it pukes, studders and barley runs. It set codes related to the crank sensor. So i ordered one, changed it and still runs the same. Ive searched, google and the forums, but cant find an answer on how to test my coil pack and what readings i should be getting. Anyone wanna give some detailed instructions on how to do it? Thanks in advance!
