Battery Drain
I have a 92 electra glide and something has been draining the battery if i don't ride it for a couple days. I have replaced the stator, wich was bad, and the regulator. Problem was still there. The horn hasn't worked since i got the bike a couple months ago. I checked the wiring with a volt meter and the wiring seems to be good so i replaced the horn with a new one from jpcycles.com. The new horn doesn't work either and i noticed that when i hit the horn button the volt meter on the bike goes to zero. I disconnected the horn last night and now there is no more drain on the battery. How could just the horn be causing the battery to drain? Another question is there is no markings on the terminals on the horn as to which is positive and negative. So could hooking it up backwards have caused the drain? Any ideas, help would be greatly appreciated.

Hook in series with a multimeter on the negative side of the battery cable. Then check how many milli amps you are drawing. Anything over 50 is excessive. Unplug components to see what causes the most draw
